The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) is the only national organization of accountancy students accredited by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Since 1983, NFJPIA ranks among the best organizations in the country as it serves as a conduit of academic excellence, mold of tomorrow’s leaders, and training ground for future professionals through its 226 accredited local chapters to more than 30,000 constituents all over the archipelago. There are ten (10) Local chapters under the Western Mindanao Council.

The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - Western Mindanao Council(NFJPIA-WMC) is the regional organization of students taking up BS Accountancy and other Accounting-related courses (i.e, BS Management Accounting, BS Internal Audit, and BS Accounting Technology, etc) covering Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, and Sulu Provinces.

Accountancy has always been acknowledged as one of the prominent courses in the global business industry. In this regard, NFJPIA has been working consistently to keep its members abreast of the issues and trends which promote professional development, camaraderie and maintain the tradition of academic excellence.
